Who we are
Ringside answers phone calls and books appointments for home service contractors in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to contractors who use Ringside and to people who call a phone number answered by Ringside.
What we collect
- Contractor contact details: your name, business name, phone number, email address, service area, business hours and billing information.
- Caller details: the caller's phone number and any information they give during the call, such as their name, service address and a description of the problem.
- Call recordings and transcripts: we record and transcribe calls answered by Ringside so you can review them in your dashboard.
- Appointment details: the date, time and job details of anything booked on your calendar.
- Basic website information: what you submit in our forms, plus standard server logs.
Calls are recorded
Calls answered by Ringside are recorded and transcribed. Callers are told at the start of the call that the call is recorded. If a caller does not want to be recorded, they can hang up or ask to be transferred to a person.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer your calls, qualify and route leads, book appointments on your calendar, text you about new leads, show you your call history and reporting, support your account, and bill you. That's it.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that make Ringside work — our phone and voice provider, our text messaging provider, our calendar booking provider, and our hosting and database provider — and only as needed to deliver the service, or when the law requires it.
Text messages (SMS)
- We text contractors a lead alert after a call ends, containing the caller's name, number, address and the problem described.
- We may text a caller back automatically after a missed call to let them know how to reach you.
- If you give us your number on our website, we may call or text you about Ringside.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
- We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep call recordings, transcripts and lead records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing and legal records. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Requesting deletion or a copy
Email jmengstrom06@gmail.com and tell us what you want deleted or sent to you. We'll confirm your identity and handle it within 30 days. Callers can make the same request about their own call records.
Security
Data is stored with reputable hosting providers, transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, but we treat call recordings as sensitive and handle them that way.
Children
Ringside is a business service and is not directed to children.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Questions? Email jmengstrom06@gmail.com.
